Earlier this month, I had the opportunity to attend ServiceNow’s annual flagship event, Knowledge 2024, with the AutomatePro team. This was my first Knowledge event and I could not be more excited to go. It was a spectacular three-day occasion filled with inspiring keynotes, thought-provoking breakout sessions, and game-changing networking opportunities. With 20,000+ members of the ServiceNow community in attendance, including partners, customers, and celebrities alike (more on this later), it’s no surprise that this was the biggest and best Knowledge yet!
ServiceNow celebrates partner award winners
Knowledge 2024 kicked off with a fantastic evening at the celebratory Partner Awards. We were amongst the 44 ServiceNow partners that had been recognised with an award earlier this year. We are still greatly humbled to be ServiceNow’s Store Partner of the Year. The award celebrates our success in driving cost reductions in platform maintenance and boosting efficiencies for upgrades and deployments for our joint customers. It was a spectacular evening connecting with fellow winners, highlighted by incredible performances from aerialists and robot drummers.
Doubling our presence at Knowledge
AutomatePro showed up in a big way, sending our largest team ever to the heart of Las Vegas. Our group ranged from first-time attendees experiencing the excitement of Knowledge for the first time, such as myself to seasoned veterans who have watched the event evolve and expand over the years.
While managing two booths in the exhibition hall was a lot of work, the atmosphere was electric across the floor. We were truly humbled by the number of visitors to our booths, all excited and eager to learn more about test automation and DevOps.
A trifecta of speakers
Not only did we concur the exhibition, we also delivered three stellar and highly anticipated presentations. Matt Kennedy, our Account Director, kicked things off by taking the stage with Goncalo Infante from Deloitte to share how our solutions platform is improving the speed and quality of Deloitte’s Financial Services Operations.
Next, our CEO & Co-Founder, Paul Chorley, captivated a full house with an electric presentation alongside Akash Rajput, the CTO & Co-Founder at InMorohis. They demonstrated how our collaboration is helping a large Singaporean government client achieve 100% test coverage with an impressive 95% reduction in time spent.
And finally, Chris Dauw, our Chief Revenue Officer, concluded AutomatePro’s speaker series with a session that perfectly aligned with this year’s core message of ‘Putting AI to work for people.’ Co-presented by Seonaid Barker and Andre Pedri from Deloitte, they explored how leading banks are combining GenAI with hyper-automation tools to modernise digital delivery and change management.
We announced a strategic partnership with Deloitte
On day two, we proudly announced that we had joined forces with Deloitte to revolutionise digital delivery within the financial services industry. Announcing it amongst the ServiceNow ecosystem was the perfect way to kick-start our journey. We aim to help FSIs streamline operations, optimise processes, and accelerate their journey to value realisation on ServiceNow using our cutting-edge DevOps portfolio of automation solutions.
AI on the Now Platform – A key takeaway
Artificial intelligence remains a focal topic within the ServiceNow community as ServiceNow continues to double down on its commitment to integrate GenAI into every process and workflow on its platform.
The projected transformational outcomes of GenAI are exciting, as its unprecedented speed capabilities are set to be a game-changer for industries worldwide. However, with this comes uncertainty about its impact on the future of the workforce. ServiceNow left us with a clear message – AI is built to work with and for us. Technology will continue to serve as a tool to alleviate the burden of repetitive and mundane tasks, so we can focus on activities that require human creativity, which is irreplaceable.
A night to remember
Prior to Knowledge I had heard ServiceNow throw the best parties, so I had high expectations for their famous closing party on the final night. From the delicious food and drinks with a view of the new Sphere to the epic live performance by musical icon Pitbull, ServiceNow delivered an incredible Vegas experience! The entire AutomatePro team had a blast and it was truly a night to remember.
