ServiceNow World Forums 2024: My Key Takeaways

The ServiceNow World Forum 2024 season has officially wrapped up, and what an incredible month it has been! A cornerstone event for the ServiceNow community, the World Forum brings together partners, industry experts, and customers for a one-day experience focused on learning, innovation, and networking. As ServiceNow’s Store Partner of the Year, we were proud to sponsor 3 separate forums, touring from London to New York and Toronto, and I had the privilege of attending all three events. As always, many learnings and insights were shared, but here‘s a snapshot of my highlights

Gen AI Took Centre Stage

This year, it was no surprise that Gen AI was the star of this year’s discussions. Reflecting on last year’s World Forum, where ServiceNow unveiled its commitment to Gen AI with a bold strategy. Fast forward to today, that vision has become a reality. Gen AI is here! Throughout the events, leading voices from the ServiceNow team spotlighted the need of AI across verticals and geographies. ServiceNow’s AI capabilities have been engineered to simplify operations, foster continuous innovation, and drive cost efficiency— making it a key ingredient for competitive advantage in today’s rapidly evolving landscape.

The Importance of Test Automation

A recurring theme emerged across all three cities: attendees are struggling with their testing and upgrades. Relying on manual testing processes has become a significant barrier to unlocking the full potential of ServiceNow. That’s what stood out for me at our booths – the excitement and buzz around test automation was undeniable. I found that attendees were interested in learning how they could accelerate their delivery—particularly following the Xanadu release in September. Many organisations are still operating on the Washington release, with some even considering skipping Xanadu altogether to wait for the next upgrade.

For me, these discussions underscored the importance of test automation and having good DevOps processes. They are pivotal for overcoming testing bottlenecks, significantly reducing time and cost burdens, and ensuring businesses remain agile and competitive.

Meaningful connections

Across the three forums, the energy and excitement on the expo floor were palpable, with over eight thousand attendees eager to learn from each other. These events provide an unparalleled opportunity for face-to-face interactions, which foster deeper connections and richer conversations. Events like these are where some of our most profound customer insights and innovative solutions were found.

Some of my favourite moments were hearing from our customers. Hearing first-hand how AutomatePro has helped them increase internal effectiveness and realise the full potential of their ServiceNow investments. Whether you stopped by our booth or joined us for one of our Happy Hour sessions, it was a pleasure to connect, share insights, and celebrate successes together.

If the World Forums weren’t exciting enough, some of the AutomatePro team also attended ServiceNow’s Global Partner Summit in Jaipur, India. This incredible event brought together global partners to collaborate, share insights, and explore the future of ServiceNow. Stay tuned as we share more about our time there!
